Getting into the North American healthcare system, whether in Canada or the USA, is more accessible through a real-world Canadian family medicine rotation with supervised clinical experience.

Program Highlights

Duration

4 weeks of hands-on clinical rotation in Canadian family medicine settings.

Flexibility

Candidates may apply for multiple rotations, either consecutively or intermittently, depending on availability.

Schedule

Attendance aligns with the clinic’s regular business hours, offering practical exposure to real patient care.

Eligibility

Open to graduates or current students from internationally accredited medical schools.

Expenses

Candidates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation; the program does not provide financial assistance.

Honorarium

Participating pharmacists will receive $1,400 CAD + HST, to be paid within 3–5 business days following program completion and issuance of certification.

Visa Support

EdgeRenovo can issue an invitation letter from the hosting clinic to confirm the official purpose of the IMG visit, including program details, to assist with Canadian visa applications in countries that require a visitor visa.

Accommodation & Services

EdgeRenovo provides full accommodation, catering, and transportation services for participating international medical graduates at extra cost, only if required , ensuring a smooth and cost-effective experience during the program.

Liability

EdgeRenovo and the hosting clinic accept no liability for any legal issues, visa denials, or improper actions during the visit to Canada. The hosting clinic may also request that the IMG sign a liability waiver to confirm that patient confidentiality and professional responsibilities will be maintained throughout their participation.
