Dr. Fady Ishak

Dr. Fady Ishak is a board-certified Family Physician with over 10 years of clinical experience and a full unrestricted Ontario license. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with expertise in acute illness, trauma management, wound care, minor procedures, chronic disease management, and lifestyle-focused consultations.
He holds the CCFP designation and has completed additional training in psychotherapy, occupational medicine, lifestyle medicine, and ADHD management. His strong commitment to ongoing professional development enhances both his clinical and teaching practice.
Dr. Ishak has extensive experience across multiple care settings, including family medicine, geriatric care, inpatient hospital medicine, acute care, and clinical research. He currently practices full-scope family medicine, immigration and Occupational Medicine at Wilson Medical Center in Hamilton and has previously served as a Geriatric Physician at Tansley Woods Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care. As a Hospitalist at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and an Acute Care GP at SuperMed Medical Center. His early career includes research at Toronto Western Hospital and family practice in Cairo, Egypt.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Ishak has served as a clinical preceptor for medical students and residents, facilitated CME workshops, and led patient education programs. He is experienced in telehealth and electronic health record (EHR) systems and is committed to fostering a supportive, high-quality learning environment for trainees.
